Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CoinSpent. By accessing the website or creating an account, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our KYC & AML Policy.

2. Our Services

CoinSpent provides a platform to sell supported digital assets for local currency and to buy supported digital assets with local currency, at rates shown at the time of your order. Availability of assets, currencies, payout methods and countries may change and may be restricted by law.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract.
• You must not be located in, or a resident of, a jurisdiction where our services are prohibited or restricted.
• You must not appear on any sanctions or restricted-party list.
• You must use the services only for yourself and with funds and assets that you lawfully own.

4. Account Registration and Security

You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that show signs of compromise.

5. Identity Verification

We may require you to complete identity verification before you can transact, and again at any time as required by law, by our partners, or by our risk controls. We may limit, delay or refuse transactions until verification is complete. See the KYC & AML Policy for details.

6. How Orders Work

1. Quote: you choose an asset, amount and currency, and we show a rate and the amount you will receive or pay.
2. Confirmation: you confirm the order. Quotes are valid for a limited time and may be refreshed.
3. Funding: for sell orders you send the asset to the deposit address shown for that order; for buy orders you pay using the provided payment method.
4. Settlement: once funds or assets are confirmed and checks are complete, we pay out to the destination you provided.

Blockchain transfers are irreversible. Always verify the network, address and amount before sending. Assets sent to the wrong address, on the wrong network, or in the wrong amount may be lost or may require manual handling fees.

7. Fees and Rates

Applicable rates and any fees are displayed before you confirm an order. Rates are based on market data and include our spread. Network fees charged by blockchains or banks are outside our control. By confirming an order you accept the displayed amount.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the services for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud or any unlawful purpose.
• Transact with funds or assets obtained through crime, scams or without the owner's consent.
• Provide false, misleading or another person's information.
• Operate multiple accounts to evade limits or controls.
• Interfere with, probe or attempt to bypass the security of the platform, or use bots or scrapers without permission.
• Use the services on behalf of a third party without our written approval.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access, hold or cancel transactions, or report activity to authorities if we suspect a breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, or where required by law or a regulator. You may close your account at any time once all open orders are settled.

10. Disputes and Refunds

If you believe an order was processed incorrectly, contact support with your order ID within 30 days. We will investigate and, where an error is ours, correct it. Completed blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. Payments sent to the wrong beneficiary by you may not be recoverable.

11. Risk Disclosure

• Digital asset prices can change rapidly and you may lose some or all of the value of your assets.
• Network congestion can delay confirmations.
• Laws and regulations governing digital assets are evolving and may affect availability of services.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoinSpent is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profits, or losses arising from market movements, third-party outages, blockchain failures or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Changes and Governing Law

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the revised version with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the CoinSpent contracting entity serving your account, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
